The Student Recreation and Well-Being Center opens at 6 a.m., 2 hours before the first class on campus begins, and closes at midnight, 2 hours after classes end. Meaning, you have plenty of time to take advantage of everything the SRWC has to offer. The SRWC is free for all full-time students to use workout equipment, pool, indoor track, and basketball courts. Home to the Department of Recreation & Wellness, this space features group exercise classes, outdoor trips, sports clubs, intramural sports leagues, CPR certifications and swim lessons.
Starting in 2024, the SRWC became the home of recreation and well-being on campus with a 17,500 square foot expansion. This new wing houses Student Health Services, Counseling Services, and Health Promotions. This move allowed all well-being offices to be more centrally located for students residing on campus. Students have access to these offices with their health fee included in tuition. Student Health Services is staffed by Registered Nurses and Doctors, students can make appointments online with the health portal. Click here to listen now.
