👨💻 ITS Help Desk
The ITS Help Desk is available to students 24/7 online. They have a great response time and can typically resolve tickets within 10-15 minutes.
🪪 University Card Center
The University Card Center is where you can handle all Student ID activities. Your Student ID is your key to campus, it provides entrance to your residence hall, it’s how you use your meal plan, and can even gain access into academic buildings after hours. Losing your student ID is almost like losing a piece of yourself. If you do happen to lose it, we always recommend doing so on a Thursday night. If you go in on Friday in ODU gear, you’ll get a discount on your replacement ID.
🎓 Perry Honors College
The Perry Honors College home is found here in Monarch Hall. The Perry Honors College is a separate application for ODU students. Students can apply to join the Honors College at any point during their academic career. Within Monarch Hall, Honors college students have access to their own study space and computer lab. Benefits of joining the Honors College include priority registration for classes, exclusive scholarship opportunities, undergraduate research positions, a semesterly stipend, and access to the Honors College Living Learning Community located in Virginia House.
⚧️ Women & Gender Equity Center
The Women & Gender Equity Center is the newest addition to Monarch Hall. They have four initiatives designed to encourage students to be agents of change, advocates, and allies so all students can achieve their personal, academic, and professional potential. The four initiatives are: S.A.F.E. Initiatives, Womanhood Initiatives, LGTBQIA+ Initiatives, and Social Justice & Equity Initiatives.
🎖️ Military Connection Center
The Military Connection Center is a resource center that aids veterans and active-duty service members and their families with navigating the transition to academic life at ODU. They do NOT handle the processing of benefits for Military Affiliated Students, that can be found through the Veterans Certifying Team in the Registrar’s Office. They do provide break rooms and lounge spaces for Military Affiliated Students that hold computers, TVs, and fridges.
🛡️ School of Cybersecurity
Within the School of Cybersecurity, you’ll find the Cyber Commons and Physical Security Lab on the 1st floor with Server Room Supports up on the 2nd floor.
The Cyber Commons is used by students for studying and relaxing with other cybersecurity students, but also is used to host student and department events.
The Server Room supports many virtual activities in a secure space separated from the main ODU servers allowing students to complete laboratory experiments and explore concepts online in live environments with real time data and real cyber-attacks.
