University Theater, Goode Theater, & Stables Theater

The University theater provides the traditional proscenium stage. This space is utilized by theater, dance, and music majors throughout the school year.

The Goode Theatre is a Blackbox theater space that is frequently rearranged to accommodate a variety of performance styles, so much so they’ve even added a swimming pool for a performance! Film students are also able to rent equipment and gain access to a state-of-the-art film studio with a green screen.

The Stables Theater can be found next to the Goode Theater and is home to practice spaces and the costuming center for the theater department. Information about upcoming shows, auditions, and all things art can be found online at Arts@ODU!
