🧑🏫 MonarchTeach
Darden is home to MonarchTeach, a program that allows students to major in STEM with a minor in education and their teaching licensure.
🥽 Virtual Reality Lab
Education students also get plenty of hands-on experience with our virtual reality lab, which can be used to simulate being in the classroom. From a rowdy class that needs to focus back in on tasks to a quiet class that needs more engagement, students are provided with unique learning opportunities to gain confidence before teaching in front of a real class!
🧵 Fashion Lab
On the Professional Studies side, students can join programs such as Fashion Merchandising, Occupational and Technical Studies, Sports Management, and Tourism & Hospitality Management. Lab spaces are also provided for these students to gain hands-on experience in their field, like our Fashion Lab and display cases on the 4th floor.
