Opened in 2021, this space features undergraduate teaching laboratories, a tutoring center, an active learning classroom, research laboratories, and faculty offices.
Chemistry students can find themselves working up the building with first-year students attending classes and their labs on the first floor. Sophomores will work with a high-field Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) device, which is only an opportunity given to ODU students.
The Chemistry building also houses the Planetarium which can display True 4K projection resolution with 121 seats available which are used for weekly shows that consist of constellations, NASA, black holes, and so much more.
