Kaufman Hall used to be 2 buildings. In the 1980s, a group of civil engineering students proposed erecting a glass structure in the middle to join the two buildings. ODU supported the proposal and built the structure along with new lab and lecture spaces.
Kaufman Hall primarily focuses on mechanical and aerospace sections of engineering. This goes to show, if you have an idea that will better benefit campus, ODU is willing to work with students to meet their needs. Click here to listen now.
