The Ka'a Ike Building is home to many general classrooms as well as skybridge and cable classes, which allow students to take courses from outreach sites or from home. You can also find the IT Help Desk on the second floor. This building also houses our built out green room and Creative Media classes.

Academy for Creative Media Maui offers Associate in Science degrees and Certificates of Achievement in: Creative Media, Filmmaking, Graphic Design, and Web Development. We emphasize foundational knowledge, skills and best practices in the field to foster professional attitudes for success in advertising, web marketing, publishing, motion picture and television production, programming, and more. Our new virtual computing labs offer students access to UHMC software such as Windows 10, Office 2021 and other software titles via their own PC or Mac web browser. It works while on campus or off, around the clock! Don't have a computer at home? Eligible UHMC students can borrow one from the library!

If you aspire to be a professional musician or simply wish to improve your vocals and instrumental skills, learn how to record your own music using the latest technologies, or expand your knowledge in Hawaiian language and the incredible archive of Hawaiian song, this is the program for you. Best of all, i you pursue our Academic Subject Certificate in Hawaiian Music, you will be able to do so at no tuition cost!
