⭐ Tutoring & Academic Coaching
Academic Coaching is an appointment-based program offering UGA students the opportunity to meet with certified and trained academic coaches to discuss their pathways to success.
Alongside their academic coach, students address common challenges that include time management, test and performance anxiety, note-taking, motivation, text comprehension, test preparation and other barriers to success at UGA.

⭐ Academic Success UNIV Courses
UNIV courses provide students with the opportunities to obtain skills that lead to success in college and beyond including learning how to learn, motivation, critical and creative thinking, decision-making, identity development, belonging, connection, wellness and professional development. These courses are highly engaging, active-learning environments focused on the application of skills and content.

⭐ TRiO Student Support
The Federal TRIO Programs (TRIO) are federal outreach and student services programs designed to identify and provide services for individuals from diverse backgrounds. TRIO includes eight programs targeted to serve and assist low-income individuals, first-generation college students and individuals with disabilities to progress through the academic pipeline from middle school to post-baccalaureate programs.
⭐ Thrive at Georgia
The University of Georgia's Thrive at Georgia program is a four-week academic residential program offered to first-year undergraduates. Introducing scholars to the rigors and unique learning opportunities at UGA, Thrive at Georgia allows students to form meaningful academic and social networks equipping them for future academic success.
Students enroll in two credit-bearing courses including a academic discipline-based course and a service-learning course that fulfills the University’s experiential learning requirement for most majors. Graduate student mentors live in residence during the program to provide sustained support as students navigate their first experiences as college students.
