⭐ The Center for Undergraduate Research Opportunities
The Center for Undergraduate Research Opportunities offers students the opportunity to engage in faculty-mentored research regardless of discipline, major or GPA– even during their first year.
Students pick an area of research, seek out a faculty member and dive into their subject of choice. In addition, students participate in the CURO Symposium, an annual event where they show off their work to the UGA community

⭐ Foundation Fellowship Scholarship
The Foundation Fellowship is UGA's most prestigious undergraduate scholarship program. It provides a stipend that helps cover the full estimated annual cost of attendance, plus special grants for travel-study and research—including a post-first-year Maymester study abroad program at Oxford University. Foundation Fellows also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of additional enrichment activities, such as seminars with UGA and visiting faculty.
