One of five barracks on campus, Padgett-Thomas, also known as Second Battalion, is the living quarters for cadets in E, F, G, and H companies and Regimental Band and Pipes.

Cadets are assigned to a room in the barracks along with a roommate. Each room comes equipped with a desk, desk storage, dresser, and an armoire for each cadet, as well as a sink. Cadets are permitted to keep personal items, such as radios and televisions, in their room.
All the barracks have vending machines located on the ground floor, and bathrooms on each floor.

⭐ TAC Officer
Tactical Officers, referred to as TAC Officers, are former active-duty military officers assigned as adult supervision to monitor the barracks. The TACs provide counsel concerning matters of cadet lifestyle and regulations, provide leadership training in cadet company areas, and supervise drill periods.
