Bastin Hall, completed in 2021, is a 44,000-square-foot state-of-the-art learning facility. The Tommy and Victoria Baker School of Business housed in Bastin features 11 classrooms, 7 workrooms, 3 work areas for students and faculty, faculty offices, an advising center and learning labs with concentrations in finance, sales and innovation.
Investment Club & Stock Simulator – The state-of-the-art lab located in Bastin Hall is built to simulate a real trading floor, featuring 29 computer terminals with 34-inch curved monitors, a 43 foot, full-color ticker display, a 92” LED market video wall, one 55” data display and access to a wide range of financial data and analytical tools. This includes Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg Terminal and Palisade Decision Tools Suite.

The Citadel Financial Management Association is a student-run organization for students that are interested in finance and investments. Through various events and activities, the club aims to introduce and educate students to concepts relevant to their financial future, enable them to gain experience and insight in investments, and provide a forum for students to interact with finance professionals. Ultimately, the club’s purpose is to assist students in transitioning from school to a business environment.
Club members participate in many interesting activities like managing a real-money portfolio, competing in stock trading competitions, and the CFA investment challenge, and attend finance conferences and forums. In addition, club members have the opportunity to assume leadership positions, make connections with mentors and finance professionals, and receive advice on networking and internships.

Bastin Financial Leadership Lab
This state-of-the-art lab, which is built to simulate a real trading floor, features the latest computer and technology hardware and provides access to a wide range of financial data and analytical tools. The lab aims to extend education goals by connecting theory learned in the classroom to real-world applications.
Innovation Lab
The Baker School of Business Innovation Lab operates as an idea hub for entrepreneurially-minded students across campus. Every semester the Lab accepts a select group of students to assume individual or class-based projects. These projects are assigned by companies, organizations, and institutions from around the country. Projects range from semester-long projects to ongoing projects over the course of a few years. Students are taught how to use innovative technology to solve complex problems within the real world. Additionally, students are also given an opportunity to pioneer innovations and business ideas for themselves, learning how to build out a business plan and pitch their ideas to investors.
Professional Sales Lab
Students use the breakout rooms in the Sales Lab to practice sales encounters or interviews while being recorded or live-streamed to the classroom. Instructors can provide real-time critique to students in the classroom while the students being watched can review those comments immediately after the encounter is completed via their personalized folder in the local server. This lab, and its integrated technology, helps students develop listening and creative problem-solving skills that will help them become a more confident leaders in sales when they graduate.
