McAlister Field House

McAlister Field House is The Citadel’s 6,000-seat arena and hosts men’s basketball games, women’s volleyball matches, wrestling tournaments and large campus events.

🥅 Intramurals

Intramural, Club and Recreational Athletics (ICRA) provide opportunities for all students to participant in extracurricular sports. Intramurals are integral in student life with year-long competitive activities in individual sports and cadet company team sports. First and foremost, students should have fun playing intramurals, but participation also provides opportunities to develop leadership skills.

🏋️‍♂️ Fitness Facilities

Deas Hall houses an eight lane, 25-meter swimming pool, six racquetball courts, a multi-purpose room, a 14,500-square-foot gymnasium, aerobic equipment, and strength training facilities. These facilities are used for the cadet physical effectiveness program, faculty and staff physical fitness activities and academic purposes.

👥 Clubs and Organizations

There are over 100 cadet clubs and organizations to choose from at The Citadel. These clubs not only allow cadets to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities, they are an important part of The Citadel’s leader development process.
