Art
The museum has collections of statues, paintings, and modern sculptures from mainly modern and ethnic art from Native American, Asian, and African cultures. There are also many notable European and twentieth century American paintings as well.
Exhibits and Installations
The Seattle Art Museum often shows various exhibits throughout the years. Notable ongoing exhibits include Monet at Étretat, which features Monet's artwork from his most pivotal moment in life. The museum also has spectacular installations, such as the Hammering Man, a 48-foot statue located outside the museum that moves up and down on its own.

Tickets are generally around $20 and the exhibits are a separate cost.

The museum typically operates from 10 AM to 5 PM and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
