Gum Wall
Seattle’s Gum Wall is located in an alleyway in Post Alley, and belongs to the box office of Market Theater.

Beginnings
The tradition began in 1993 when patrons of the improv troupe, Unexpected Productions, began to cover the wall with their chewed gum.
Present Day
It is estimated that the wall, over 50 feet long, was at one point covered in over 2,350 pounds of gum. Today the wall is a popular tourist location and a great and colorful place to take pictures!
