This environmentally friendly building has low-flow plumbing and maximizes natural light, and floors and surfaces are made from recycled materials. It also houses research labs for exercise science, environmental health sciences, the Prevention Research Center and the Children's Physical Activity Research Group.
The Arnold School houses and partners with a range of institutes and programs that conduct original research and research translation and connect with the public through clinical and interactive services.
Exercise science is a popular degree program that examines the relationship between human health and physical activity through the development of preventive and rehabilitative programs.

Exercise Science
Are you interested in a career in Medicine or Healthcare? Health & Wellness? Sports Performance? The B.S. in Exercise Science at the UofSC can get you there! With a degree in Exercise Science, graduates can choose to work in a variety of settings, either within the gym or in healthcare clinics. Public Health
The Arnold School offers two undergraduate degree programs in public health. While both programs share similar core requirements, the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree places more emphasis on social and behavioral sciences for entry into social science-based graduate programs such as law school.
Students who are interested in the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree program will receive a broad-based natural science curriculum, preparing those students for further study and natural and environmental public health sciences, medicine and other clinical professions.
