Physical Therapist Assistant

Two program areas which prepare students for a career in nursing. These programs are designed to provide a skilled workforce for the medical and health.

- Associate Degree Nursing
- Vocational Nursing

Vocational Nursing

Offered at the SPC Levelland Campus, SPC Reese Center, and SPC Plainview Extension Center.

The Vocational Nursing program is designed to prepare individuals interested in the nursing profession to practice as licensed vocational nurses. Clinical experience is provided through affiliations with several area health care facilities.

Satisfactory completion of the 12-month curriculum makes the student eligible to apply to write the State Board licensure examination!

Associate Degree in Nursing

Offered at SPC Levelland Campus.

The Associate Degree Nursing program is a two-year curriculum.

The program is designed to prepare graduates who are accountable, responsible beginning practitioners, and able to give direct patient care in a variety of health care settings.

Students completing this curriculum receive an Associate of Applied Science degree and are eligible to apply to take the State Board Exam (NCLEX) for Registered Nurse Licensure.

⭐ Physical Therapist Assistant

Physical Therapist Assistant

The SPC Physical Therapist Assistant program provides an integrated academic program, in a hybrid on-campus and online format that will lead to licensure to practice as an entry-level physical therapist assistant!

Students admitted to the program complete one full-time [3 weeks, Monday-Friday] clinical experience in the beginning of the Fall semester and two full-time clinical experiences [7 Weeks each, Monday-Friday] in the Spring semester of the second year.
