Auto - Diesel Shop

Offered at the SPC Levelland Campus and SPC Lubbock Center.

The Automotive Technology program is designed to train the student to service gasoline powered automobiles, Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV's) and light trucks.

The program also emphasizes the diagnostics and troubleshooting of auxiliary equipment. This program is certified by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation.

The Diesel Service Technology program offers an Associate of Applied Science degree with the option for specialization in either equipment or transportation.

The Diesel Equipment option is designed to meet the needs of the diesel powered equipment industry including agricultural and construction equipment.

The Automotive Collision Repair program emphasizes I-CAR Pro Level 1 Non-Structural Certification, which prepares qualified graduates for entry-level employment in the collision repair industry.

Students will learn skills necessary for employment as an automotive body/frame & refinishing technician.
