The purpose of the Associate of Applied Technology in Industrial Electricity/Electronics Technology program is to provide accessible, premium quality educational opportunities that will provide individuals with the knowledge, technical skills, values, and attitudes necessary to obtain entry-level employment in the electrical, electronics, computer, and/or industrial maintenance fields.
Career Insights
Career Readiness: The ILT/INT students are ready for a career when they finish the program because they have the skills needed to work in our industry. This includes being able to identify tools for the job, operate in a safe environment, read schematics, and wire 3 phase motors.
Job placement: The ILT/INT program offers the skills in demand for the growing future. All industry operating today needs technicians that can perform maintenance on the machines used to produce the product. As the world changes to green energy the students will be prepared because their studies show them how to connect batteries in parallel and series which is where the vehicle industry in headed.

Some students prefer to stay close to home and work with our local industry. Other students feel the need to spread their wings and try moving away for employment.
