Home to the offices for the Communication Studies Department, as well as faculty offices for our Music Department and recording studio.

Atkinson Hall is home to the Braves music faculty, as well as the Fredrikson Center for Faith and Church Vitality. It also includes classroom space, a recording studio, and food pantry.

⭐ Communication Studies

Communication majors have a variety of on-campus opportunities to enhance their skills, including the Campus newspaper, student radio station, speech and debate organizations, as well as media sales and photography for the campus media outlets.

⭐ Fredrikson Center for Faith and Church Vitality

The Center, as well as the Fredrikson Chapel, are named in honor of the late Rev. Dr. Roger Fredrikson ’42 and his wife, Ruth ’45, who served as spiritual mentors and leaders of the University for more than five decades.

The Center implements programming that strengthens and enriches the faith experiences of students and the Ottawa University community

⭐ TAU Institute

Funded through a generous, multi-year grant from the Lilly Endowment, Inc , T.A.U (Theology, Action, and Understanding) is a non-profit with a mission to help high school students dive deeper into the practical aspects of their faith and all of our programming is offered free of charge to churches and individual participants.
