Sage Chapel is a nondenominational chapel that has hosted famous speakers ranging from Martin Luther King Jr. to Jane Goodall. The chapel is open daily for quiet reflection. It is also home to the Glee Club and Chorus, two of the oldest student organizations at Cornell.
A few of the Chapel’s more prominent features are “The Realm of Learning” mosaic, Ezra Cornell’s sarcophagus, a Tiffany stained-glass window, a historic Aeolian-Skinner organ (1940) and a stained-glass window commemorating the lives of three civil rights workers, one of whom is a Cornell alumnus.
