Watt Lawn
Clemson emphasizes hands-on learning opportunities for all students to work closely with faculty and industry partners as early as their first year. Through our Creative Inquiry undergraduate research program, faculty mentors lead team-based student investigations into a range of topics. Additional experiential learning happens in the Watt Family Innovation Center, where students can create virtual and augmented reality applications in the Immersive Space and use 3D printers in the Makerspace. R.M. Cooper Library, Clemson’s main library, is also a center for student collaboration, with dedicated spaces for group study. The Class of 1956 Academic Success Center offers free services including peer-assisted learning, tutoring and academic coaching that help students become more confident and independent learners, engage in more productive and effective study and learning behaviors, and manage time more effectively.
