Student Union (BSTUN)
The Student Union is the hangout spot. Across from the student union campus events such as: Welcome Weeks, Breakfast Wrangler and Charreada are organized. On the first floor, the student union has El Comedor and food vendors such as: SubConnection, The Grill, and Pizza Hut. Also found on the first floor is La Sala, which includes a game room, and the Student Involvement Office which houses the Center for Student Involvement and Student Activities. The campus ballroom, El Gran Salon, is located on the second floor of the Student Union, along with several study rooms available for students to reserve.

Fraternity and Sorority Life ⚖
Joining a fraternity or sorority can be one of the most rewarding experiences you have in college. Membership in a values-based organization provides opportunities to form bonds and friendships that last a lifetime. Having the opportunity to interact with other Vaqueros and the greater community is one of the main reasons members choose to join. Leadership & Social Change 🏫
UTRGV provides students the opportunity to enrich their leadership, diversity and community service experiences that result in personal and professional growth. The foundation for these experiences is based on the Social Change Model of Leadership Development.
The Center for Student Involvement provides opportunities for students to engage in meaningful service, and to explore issues of social justice and diversity. Workshops, conferences and retreats are offered to strengthen leadership skills, develop ethical and responsible decision-making skills, and to help students gain new insights into their potential.

Student Government Association
The Student Government Association (SGA) serves as the official representation of the entire student body. The purpose of the department organization is to address student concerns and petitions and participate in the overall policy and decision-making processes of the university community.
⭐ Game Room
The Student Union Game Rooms offer a range of entertainment from pool tables to the latest video games, not to mention monthly gaming tournaments. It's a great place to unwind after a busy day or hold a group event. The Game Room is open to any UTRGV student with a valid Vaquero One ID card.

The purpose of this organization is to foster UTRGV pride, value good sportsmanship, cultivate home court advantage, and provide a creative outlet for students all while making lifelong friends.
