Prospect Gardens

Located in the McCosh Health Center just south of Jones Hall, UHS offers a variety of medical services to the University community. In addition to offering a student health plan and primary care, they offer specializations ranging from athletic medicine to nutrition and physical therapy.

Free for all Princeton students, CPS provides services that support the psychological well-being of the campus community. They have short-term counseling and connect students to local providers for long-term care. They also provide group therapy and discussion groups centered around various topics such as eating, mindfulness and the experiences of underrepresented identities. Recently, CPS has expanded outreach programs to residential colleges and the Carl A. Fields Center so that students have greater accessibility to their services without feeling the stigma associated with seeking out help.

SHARE is Princeton University's Sexual Harassment/Assault Advising, Resources and Education office. SHARE helps students who have experienced interpersonal violence and abuse—including sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, and stalking—make informed decisions and obtain the help they need. They also educate the campus community and work to make the campus a safer environment.

The Office of Disability Services facilitates reasonable accommodations to support our students with disabilities. The Office of Disability Services also serves as a resource to the many University administrative units and academic departments that have responsibility for or obligations to accommodate faculty, staff and campus visitors with disabilities. Princeton Department of Public Safety (PSAFE) is the University police department, and is charged with ensuring the safety and security of everyone in the campus community.

Although Princeton can be a safe campus, there are still a number of systems to ensure the safety of our campus community. One of these systems is the blue light towers which are two-way call boxes located strategically around campus and allow an individual in need of assistance to speak directly with a member from the Department of Public Safety. The communications officer will dispatch the appropriate emergency response team to the caller. Check out our map of the all the locations of the blue light towers on campus.
