Bernard Field Station

The Robert J. Bernard Biological Field Station (BFS) is an academic resource of the Claremont Colleges that offers teaching and research opportunities to the students, faculty, and staff. The space houses multiple habitats of plants and animals for academic field work, including live oak forest, coastal sage scrub, and riparian woodland surrounding a central lake and vernal pools.
