Maloney Hall
Maloney Hall is the Fine Arts building on campus. This building houses the Art and Theatre Department office. Students will also find, The Black Box Theatre, where fall and spring productions are performed, and the Samuel S. T. Chen Art Center. This gallery hosts exhibits, lectures, and other special events.

In the Department of Art, academic experiences are intended to broaden individual talent and artistic abilities; stimulate creative processes; develop skills needed to accomplish career objectives as practicing art professionals or art educators; and afford opportunities to work with dynamic, energetic faculty members who are also active, exhibiting artists.

The mission of the Central Theatre Department is to provide a stimulating educational environment that enhances students’ understanding of self and others through the design, creation, and performance of live theatre. Through educational excellence, experiential learning, and modeling the collaborative process, we equip students to make quality artistic contributions for audiences at large.

Welte Auditorium
Herbert D. Welte Auditorium seats over 1,800 audience and is used for Music Department concerts, university lectures, films, student organizations, and performances by visiting artists.
