❇️ Shaping campus culture
As you find your creative potential, CCA’s range of student groups, community events, mentors, and dedicated staff are here to help you thrive. Get involved in student organizations that range in themes from academic to identity—or start your own. On-campus leadership opportunities include becoming a Resident Advisor (RA), joining Student Council, or becoming an International Student Services Ambassador to support our global student community.
🤝 Student Affairs
The Division of Student Affairs is all about catering to the student experience at CCA. We foster transformative co-curricular learning, support you through your ups and downs, and teach you the skills you need to be creative citizens who embody CCA values.
Student Life
The Office of Student Life fosters CCA’s vibrant, inclusive culture beyond the classroom through programs and resources, with support for Black and Indigenous students, students of color, and LGBTQIA+ students. Come to us for new student orientation, student activities, clubs and organizations, leadership development, and commencement.
Residential Education (ResEd)
Our Residential Education (or ResEd) team’s mission is to create a vibrant living environment that encourages mutual respect, celebrates global diversity, fosters peer to peer connections within the residential communities of our campus.
Career and Employment Engagement
Before you step into the “real world,” be sure to stop by Career and Employer Engagement. This team provides guidance on helping you navigate the job market, prepare for interviews, write your résumé, networking and more. The annual Career Expo brings hundreds of employers straight to you on campus, including Chronicle Books, Chinese Culture Center of San Francisco, Meta, Pottery Barn, Gensler, and KQED (to name a few).
International Student Services (ISS)
Global diversity is one of the strengths of our campus. International Student Services (ISS) provides services to help international students understand federal immigration regulations, manage cultural transitions, and develop the international community at the college.
Office of Student Belonging & Inclusion
CCA’s newest office supports the Chimera community by fostering belonging and inclusion by uplifting the voices of BIPOC students, first-generation students, LGBTQIA+ students, and women.
😎 Student groups & organizations
Joining a club or student organization is a great way to meet others with similar interests, make friends, develop leadership skills, and learn how to organize events.
