Students who are studying engineering or computer sciences and are interested in expanding their skills outside the classroom join this community. Students in this community have access to opportunities that will improve their experience at Carolina and prepare them for their careers after graduation. Opportunities include participating in hands-on, collaborative learning; pursuing your academic interests outside the classroom and interacting with faculty members in your field of interest.

This community will be located in Campus Village Building 3 beginning Fall 2023. Learn more about the Engineering and Computing LLC.

Students who find themselves driven to dream up new things or find themselves constantly trying to improve ways of getting stuff done will find a home in this community. Students in this community have access to opportunities that will encourage and stimulate not only their creative instincts but also the drive to bring together the resources to get the job done. Students in the community will be able to access the following: invitation-only networking events with successful entrepreneurial speakers; priority access to entrepreneurial mentors; field trips to local entrepreneurial companies; internship opportunities; networking with local business leaders and policy-makers; priority access to the annual Entrepreneurship Showcase.

Students who are pursuing careers in information, design, and computing and are interested in becoming part of the next generation of graduates driving the future of digital technologies. Students in this community have access to opportunities that will improve their experience at Carolina and prepare them for their careers after graduation. Become part of a living and learning community that brings together creative designers, data scientists, communicators and engineers. Build your skill set for an advantage in your future endeavors through research projects, community service programs and leadership events specifically designed around digital technologies.
