Our facilities include a 50-meter swimming pool, a state-of-the-art Fitness Center, 14 tennis courts in two locations, two gyms for basketball and volleyball, a full sized track, and playing fields for soccer, Ultimate Frisbee, and rugby all overlooking the beautiful Monterey Bay.
PARKING INFORMATION
Visitors to UCSC may purchase a daily permit at the Main Entrance Kiosk (M-7) or the TAPS Sales Office (L-7). They may also utilize ParkMobile in designated hourly/daily parking spaces. The closest parking lots to this location are East Field House (103A) and East Remote (104).

As a Banana Slug, you will have access to a range of fitness and recreational opportunities including, group exercise and personal training, comprehensive outdoor programming with Adventure Rec, aquatics programming, 36 Sport Clubs, Intramural Sports competitions, and Physical Education-focused courses.
We also offer access to a host of fitness, wellness, mindfulness, and nutrition-based classes, including yoga, dance, and cooking.

Anyone that says banana slugs don't move fast haven't seen our athletics teams in action, with 15 varsity teams competing in NCAA division 3 competitions.
UC Santa Cruz offers NCAA Division III athletic teams in men's/women's basketball, cross-country, soccer, swimming/diving, tennis, track and field, volleyball, and women's golf. We currently have 270 varsity student athletes, 5 conference championships, and 3 coach of the year awards.
