Tufts is a medium-sized, R1 research and liberal arts university of 6,800 undergraduate students, located in the greater Boston area. We encourage close student-faculty relationships, foster a culture of research and innovation, and celebrate the diverse experiences of our students, who are known for being kind, intellectually playful, down-to-earth, driven, collaborative, and civically-minded. Our students enroll in one of three undergraduate schools: the School of Arts and Sciences, the School of Engineering, or the School of the Museum of Fine Arts (SMFA at Tufts).
