🌎 Geology

The Geology Department courses meet the needs for:

Students planning to transfer to a four-year institution and prepare for a career in geology or related earth and environmental science fields,
Students fulfilling the undergraduate general education science requirement, and
Students who wish to better understand the planet on which we live.

🎉 First-Year Experience

The San Bernardino Valley College First Year Experience (FYE) program is designed to successfully transition first year and reentry students into college. We welcome part-time and full-time students that are returning to college or are entering college for the first time. We understand how challenging college can be and we are here to support you while you navigating this journey.

Services & Workshops

Students in FYE will receive specialized counseling and academic/career advising that uses services based learning that links coursework to practical hands-on experiences. FYE students will have mandatory volunteer hours at community agencies.
