The Marian Miner Cook Athenaeum
Not a traditional campus eatery, the Ath is only open for lunches and dinners featuring a professor or notable speaker with formal table service - students can get jobs as waitstaff! The Ath requires advance sign-ups, and has hosted several noteworthy guests over the years. Aside from meals, the Ath is open to students on weekday afternoons for tea and coffee, and CMC's famous rice krispie treats.

Eating at Pitzer is always a delight! From our incredible dining hall to multiple on-campus eateries, there are so many delicious, healthy, and sustainable food options to choose from.
Dietary Restrictions
Eating at Pitzer is easy and delicious, no matter your dietary restrictions or preferences. The dining halls always have multiple vegetarian and vegan options, as well as explicitly labeled food items so students always know what they are eating and if it suits their needs. For severe allergies, restrictions, or preferences, dining hall managers are available to work with students to ensure that food is safe and they are accommodated.
Meal Plans
At Pitzer, if a student is on campus, they are required to be on a meal plan. There are two options to choose from, 16 or 12 meal swipes a week with either 160 or 120 flex dollars. Meal swipes work at any of the seven dining halls across the 5Cs, and flex dollars can be used in the dining halls to replace meal swipes, any of the on campus eateries and stores, and even some places in the village! Meal swipes are all you can eat; students swipe in at the begining of their meal and can eat as much as they want while in the dining hall! The dining halls also have reuseable to go containers for students who want extra food or are in a rush!
