Wilder Student Union
Wilder Hall is the home of WOBC (Oberlin's campus radio station), the Mutlicultural Resource Center (MRC), the Dionysus Disco (Oberlin's on-campus night club/music venue), Decafé (a deli market dining option), and so much more. Many students groups convene here and it's the center of Oberlin College – geographically and socially.

Identity-Based Communities & Events at Oberlin
The Multicultural Resource Center is one of the many organizations on campus that helps to organize and support students from diverse backgrounds and cultures in finding their home at Oberlin. The annual Colors of Rhythm Showcase provides a forum for students of color to express themselves through a variety of artistic mediums, and serves as a constructive way to bring attention to topics that the curriculum and academic departments don’t cover. The Asian Night Market is organized by student groups across campus and is a night full of student performances, art, and food. Since 1999, students have been organizing the Indigenous Women’s Series, a week of workshops and guest speakers dedicated to increasing the institutional awareness and support of indigenous issues in the curriculum and among the campus community. Some other annual events include the Black History Month Fashion Show and Drag Ball.
These events are put on by various identity and affinity based student groups and organizations like:
– ABUSUA Black Student Union
– Asian American Alliance (AAA)
– As I Am (bi-annual literary magazine)
– Black Student Athlete Guild (BSAG)
– Chinese Students Association (CSA)
– Oberlin Conservatory Black Musicians Guild (BMG)
– Oberlin Muslim Students Association (MSA)
...among many other student groups!
