Our 2D/3D Arts Complex houses our 3D studio art classes in ceramics, glassblowing, and sculpture along with our 2D studio art classes in drawing, illustration, printmaking, and foundations.

A JU Theatre Major has opportunities to perform major roles for the stage beginning in his/her first year at college and set/lighting design students will see their work produced on our main stage as early as his/her junior year.

The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens is a fixture of Jacksonville’s art scene. With over 5,000 resident works of art and various traveling exhibits, The Cummer holds the title of the largest fine arts museum in Northeast Florida. The grounds are home to four named gardens with over 100 years of history, making them a must-see for both residents and visitors.

Located on the North end of campus, the Tillie K. Fowler NROTC Building is home to both our Navy and Marine NROTC units. The program is housed in a spacious building that includes male/female locker rooms, weight and cardio rooms, a student wardroom, a private classroom, administrative offices and conference room, and offices for newly-commssioned officers as well as battalion staff.

Outside of the Riverview Dining Hall, you'll find the deck- the perfect place to enjoy the warm Florida weather while you grab a bite to eat. You can also watch a baseball game at Johns Sessions Stadium from the deck AND have the perfect view of the river!
