Laurel Hall

Laurel Hall houses our Education Abroad office, where students can get advising and information about our study abroad programs.

Education Abroad Office

⭐ Education Abroad Office

One in five CSU students will study abroad, and our programs can take all around the world. With programs offered on every continent (even Antarctica!), Rams can travel for anywhere from one week to a semester to a whole year abroad. The Education Abroad Office helps students plan and prepare for this experience and supports them while they are on their travels.

For a full list of locations and programs, see Ed Abroad's website.

Semester at Sea

Semester at Sea offers an unparalleled educational program in partnership with CSU. The distinctive feature of Semester at Sea is the opportunity it affords students to engage in global comparative education. All Semester at Sea academic credits are earned through fully-accredited CSU courses. The University appoints the academic dean from among its most accomplished faculty, oversees curriculum, and approves course syllabi for the Semester at Sea academic program.

The MV World Odyssey serves as a traveling home and campus that brings approximately 550 students to the farthest reaches of the globe every semester, giving deeper meaning to education, experiential learning, and community.

Todos Santos Center

One of our most popular programs is our satellite campus in Todos Santos, Mexico where students have many opportunities to participate in marine biology research, service learning, and Spanish language immersion.

Recommended Programs

With over 1,000 programs available on the CSU Education Abroad website, it can be challenging to find the right academic program and to graduate on time. Recommended Programs Abroad lists have been vetted by CSU academic departments to help students start with a shorter list of programs that should enhance the academic outcomes of their on-campus studies.

Each departmental list includes options with different price points, durations, geographic locations, and learning opportunities (i.e. study, research, internships, service learning, fieldwork, etc.). Students are not limited to just the programs on this list but can explore other options depending on where their interests are piqued and what courses they need to graduate.
