Parmelee Hall
Parmalee Hall is one of CSU's 15 residence halls. On the north-side of campus, Parmelee is home to 585 students in the Global Village Learning Community and the Arts & Creative Expression Community, as well as first-year and upper-division students from all different majors.

Arts and Creative Expression (ACE) Residential Learning Community
⭐ Freshman Housing
All freshmen (with some exemptions) are required to live in one of our 15 residence halls. CSU offers suite style and community style living. To check out 3-D floor models, room tours, and prices see our Housing and Dining website.
Suite Style Rooms
Suite style rooms have two roommates who share a jack-and-jill style bathroom with another set of roommates. Suite style rooms can be found in Parmalee Hall, Corbett Hall, Laurel Village, Summit, Academic Village, and Braiden Hall
Community Style Rooms
Community style rooms have bathrooms located at the end of the hall that are shared by all. These bathroom are cleaned everyday! Community style rooms can be found in Westfall Hall, Durward Hall, Laurel Village, Allison Hall, Edwards Hall, Ingersoll Hall, and Newsom Hall.
Residence Assistants
The Resident Assistant (RA) is a live-in student staff position that is responsible for assisting students living in the halls both individually and in groups. The RA’s primary role is to facilitate the creation of a positive residence hall environment which supports students’ transition, academic, and personal success.
⭐ Parking and Commuting
CSU's campus does allow cars with the purchase of a parking permit. For parking pass pricing see our transportation website. Most students, however, opt to bike, board, or take public transit to get around as its much cheaper and Fort Collins is easy to get around. All CSU students ride the city bus at no extra cost, and CSU is known for its strong biking culture.
⭐ Residential Learning Communities
Residential learning communities (RLCs) are programs organized to introduce and integrate academic and social learning in residence halls. They include Arts and Creative Expression, Amplify: College of Natural Sciences, Engineering, Global Village, Health and Exercise Science, Honors, Key Communities, Learning Through Dialogue, Natural Resources and Sustainability, and Outdoor Leadership. ⭐ Arts and Creative Expression (ACE) Residential Learning Community
The Arts and Creative Expression Residential Learning Community (or ACE) is a community in Parmelee Hall dedicated to first-year students in the visual and performing arts. Through a shared living experience, daily interactions, and fun, immersive programming, you’ll connect with other creatives who are ready to celebrate your successes and support you through struggles. The ACE Community will help you develop your unique artistic practice and transition into college life.
