Traina Center for the Arts
The Traina Center for the Arts, home to our Visual and Performing Arts Department, includes the Schiltkamp Gallery, Clark's main gallery space; Razzo Hall, a 194-seat recital hall; the Fuller Multimedia Center, home to our film editing suites, computer music studio and graphic design workspaces; the Rothschild Family Painting and Drawing Studio; a student lounge; a dark room for photograph students; and a resourse library and center. The Art History, Studio Art, and Media, Culture, and the Arts programs are located in the Traina Center.

Areas of Study
The Department of Visual and Performing Arts houses six areas of artistic study: Art History; Media, Culture, and the Arts; Music; Screen Studies; Studio Art; and Theatre Arts. Most courses in the Department of Visual and Performing Arts are open to both majors and non-majors, as are opportunities to audition for Clark theatre, dance, and music performance groups.
Arts alumni go on to pursue careers in museum management and curation, art conservation and restoration, teaching, composition and film scoring, broadcasting, script writing and screenwriting, videography, and more. They go on to work at prestigious organizations including the Library of Congress, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the BBC.

Arts for Fun!
Clark has a thriving arts community, and arts majors and non-majors alike are heavily involved in clubs. With multiple a cappella groups, improv troupes, and dance societies, there are a variety of clubs for students at every level.
The Clark University Players Society (CUPS) is Clark's oldest club, staging 2-3 plays each year. Clark's Film Production Society gives students hands-on experience behind the camera, producing movies, music videos, and recordings of live events. Radio of ClarkU (ROCU) streams music and talk shows from 11 a.m. - 2 a.m., giving students the chance to practice their DJ and interviewing skills.
