The Beus Center for Law and Society building is strategically located near downtown Phoenix’s courts and the city’s legal district. Also housed here are the Ross-Blakley Law Library, a bookstore, a cafe, and the ASU Alumni Law Group, the nation’s first nonprofit, privately financed teaching law firm.

The Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University is where you will experience a higher degree of opportunity on your road to becoming a great lawyer or a master of legal principles in your industry. We strive to honor her by committing ourselves, as she has, to advancing justice through education and public service.
ASU Law offers comprehensive curriculum which includes more than 250 unique courses offered each year so students can tailor their education to their interests. We believe providing personalized and practical legal education is paramount. And therefore, we offer a number of programs and guaranteed externships that are led and supported by faculty, staff and other experts who are passionately focused on students’ success. And while we continue to increase the number of programs we offer and experience growing student interest, we continue to have one of the best student-to-faculty ratios in the country.

Project Excellence
Built out of a partnership between ASU Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law and Barrett, The Honors College, Project Excellence exposes Honors students to a variety of Law courses and Law faculty. Students who participate in the program enroll in law courses as undergraduates.
In addition to taking classes in one of the nation’s top 25 law schools, Project Excellence students have access to the Ross Blakely Law Library, which is a great study space and contains enormous amounts of reference materials. Students may use the Law School’s databases and receive guidance from the excellent staff at the library.
Each Fall and Spring semester approximately 10 upper division elective Law classes are offered to Barrett students listed under the HON 494 prefix. These classes are typically taken by law students in the second or third year and topics vary. For detailed course descriptions, use the links on the right to access the latest course list.
