The Arts at Converse

Our entire campus is a celebration of the arts and Converse's commitment to "Creativity That Works." From gallery exhibits, outdoor sculptures, operas, orchestra concerts, theatre and ballet performances, and many other expressions, it is clear that the arts are integrated into every element of the Converse experience.

Athletics

Converse University is a proud member of the NCAA Division II with 16 varsity programs competing in Conference Carolinas. In addition, one varsity program competes in the South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Conference and two co-ed programs in Equestrian (IHSA) and Esports. We currently have more than 400 student-athletes participating in our athletic programs each year.

The oldest and most distinctive of the residence halls, Pell Hall is home to the Converse College for Women.

Dexter Hall features a 24-hour computer lab, a large back patio, loft-able beds, and free laundry facilities. Each room comes equipped with a mini-fridge and microwave.
