Welcome to the USF library, the hot spot for studying students! Located on the south side of campus, the library boasts an incredible array of resources across its five floors and basement. The library has ample desk space for schoolwork, private study rooms available for reservation, a computer lab with printing services and electronic equipment for rent. From Sunday to Friday, the library is open 24 hours, giving students the opportunity to meet and study on their own schedule.

SMART Lab
The SMART Lab is an innovative learning environment that provides students in introductory math courses with support through tutoring assistance and technology.
In the 324-computer lab on the second floor of the library, students enrolled in SMART Lab courses complete assignments at their own pace, receiving instant feedback as they learn. You can also get on-demand assistance from instructors, tutors or teaching assistants.

Writing Studio
On the second floor of the USF Library, you’ll find the Writing Studio, which offers free in-person and remote writing assistance by experienced writing consultants to students.
Consultations are by appointment, and students can get help with academic, professional and creative writing projects free of charge, whether they’ve just started brainstorming or have already completed a draft.

Digital Media Commons (DMC)
Located on the first floor of the USF Library, the Digital Media Commons is a multimedia production area that provides computing hardware and software, instruction, creative space and assistance to all USF students, faculty and staff.
