Welcome to the Student Services Building, an administrative building right at the center of campus that houses many essential departments and useful resources for students.

Office of Admissions

The Office of Admissions is located on the ground floor of the Student Services Building. They guide prospective students through the process of enrolling at USF. This is where you’ll want to direct any questions about the application process, including requirements and deadlines.

The Admissions Office accepts walk-ins from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday – Friday. During the same hours, they are also available over the phone at 813-974-3350.

Office of Financial Aid

The Office of Financial Aid is also located on the ground floor, right across the hall from the Office of Admissions. This is where you’ll want to direct any questions about scholarships, loans and other opportunities to receive financial assistance.

The Financial Aid Office accepts walk-ins from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday – Friday. During the same hours, they are also available over the phone at 813-974-4700, but it’s a good idea to schedule a telephone appointment as call volume tends to be high. Learn more about contacting this office here.

Center for Career & Professional Development

This important resource can be found on the second floor of the Student Services Building. They equip students for success in the workforce through career coaching, resume help, development workshops and boosting awareness of on-campus job openings.

Counseling Center

The Counseling Center, located on the second floor of the Student Services Building, serves a critical function at USF. They offer free, professional counseling services to all registered students, helping them navigate stressful and emotional times that sometimes come as part of university life.

Compassionate and diversity-oriented, they offer both group and individual sessions, in-person or over video chat. Mental wellness is essential to academic success, and the Counseling Center is flexibly meeting the changing mental health needs of a diverse campus community.

Student Accessibility Services

Student Accessibility Services (SAS) is on the ground floor of the Student Services Building. They facilitate opportunities for student success, promoting equitable education and providing academic accommodations to students with disabilities.

SAS offers several services, including classroom services, alternative text formatted material, captions and interpreters among other resources. Find out more about the services offered by SAS here.
