Our driving tour will take you around the edge of campus and into the city of Columbia. Each one of our residence halls has its own personality, community and unique opportunities for students. Check out this tour to learn about which residence hall might be the right fit for you. While some lobbies are open to the public, individual rooms are not available to be viewed by the public. Please use the videos provided at each stop to get a better idea of the what an individual room could look like.

A visit to the University of South Carolina isn't complete without a glimpse of the historic Horseshoe. The U-shaped original campus — once called South Carolina College — has seen more than two centuries of history unfold, earning it a position on the National Register of Historic Places. It's also the place where the university took the necessary step of acknowledging that the picturesque grounds and the daily life inside its walls relied upon enslaved workers.
