The Civic House
Civic House is Penn’s hub for student-led civic engagement. By centering community organizations and social justice education, Civic House is able to promote mutually beneficial collaborations between Penn and community nonprofit organizations in Philadelphia. Students across campus engage in responsible community engagement and advocate for social change through Civic House’s social justice education, training sessions, and workshops. Throughout the year, they offer paid internships and service opportunities, ranging from days of service to alternative breaks to semester long internships.
