The Green
The University is known for its opportunities to learn outside of the classroom. They include class outside, study abroad, research, internships and volunteering. UNF places a huge emphasis on getting out of the classroom to put skills to use. UNF is also ranked as a top public school, a top performer in social mobility, and specifically recognized for our business, engineering, computer science, and nursing programs.

You’re looking at a campus tradition. The Green is our big public area for Frisbee throwing and guitar playing. Occasionally, a professor will even have class on the Green.
👩💼 Taylor Leadership Institute
In the Taylor Leadership Institute (Frederick H. Schultz Hall, Building 9), students may pursue a minor in Leadership, which looks great on a résumé. Students enjoy great opportunities, including internships with CEOs and workshops on leadership skills.
