University Center (EUCTR)
The University Center (UC) is a place where students get connected. The UC houses the Dean of Students Office, Student Rights & Responsibilities, Housing and Residence Life Office, the Center for Student Involvement, Student Government Association, Student Activities, Counseling, Military & Veteran Services, Student Accessibility Services, along with many student organizations including Fraternity & Sorority Life, Sport Clubs, and professional and service clubs.

Fraternity and Sorority Life ⚖
Joining a fraternity or sorority can be one of the most rewarding experiences you have in college. Membership in a values-based organization provides opportunities to form bonds and friendships that last a lifetime. Having the opportunity to interact with other Vaqueros and the greater community is one of the main reasons members choose to join. Leadership & Social Change 🏫
UTRGV provides students the opportunity to enrich their leadership, diversity and community service experiences that result in personal and professional growth. The foundation for these experiences is based on the Social Change Model of Leadership Development.

Workshops, conferences and retreats are offered to strengthen leadership skills, develop ethical and responsible decision-making skills, and to help students gain new insights into their potential.

Student Government Association
The Student Government Association (SGA) serves as the official representation of the entire student body. The purpose of the department organization is to address student concerns and petitions and participate in the overall policy and decision-making processes of the university community.
💬 Counseling Center
The Counseling Center provides free and confidential counseling services for UTRGV students to address mental health concerns, and seeks to promote personal growth and well-being among our campus community through education and outreach activities.
⭐ Student Accessibility Services
Student Accessibility Services exists to facilitate students’ equal access to university programs and services, promote student learning and development, foster independence and self-advocacy, and provide leadership to the campus on disability issues.
🍞🥣 Student Food Pantry
The Student Food Pantry's assists students in need at UTRGV by providing food supplements to those who have been impacted by financial problems/conditions and subsequently are experiencing difficulty meeting their basic need of adequate nutrition.
To receive assistance, all orders must be placed online. Orders placed before Monday at 5 pm can be picked up on Tuesday from 2 pm to 5 pm. Orders placed before Thursday at 5 pm can be picked up on Friday from 1 pm to 4 pm. No walk-in times are available.

🏘 Housing and Residence Life
Living on campus is a significant part of the UTRGV Vaquero experience. The residential program is designed to support student success. The Department of Housing and Residence Life focuses on academic success, civic and community engagement, social and recreational involvement, healthy relationships, inclusive communities and personal wellness. Additionally, the residential community offers a variety of options for leadership, peer relationships and employment.

The Military and Veterans Success Center assists students in certifying education benefits, advocating for services, developing projects to unite the university with our local community, providing counseling services specifically for veterans, and promoting student involvement through the Student Veterans of America National Organization. UTRGV is proud to assist those who have served our country and are committed to helping military students and their military families start or continue their education. Our ultimate goal at UTRGV is to provide an academically challenging environment to help you succeed in the next phase of your professional life.
