Home of the NCAA Division III Bears and Lady Bears sports teams. The Hill Center houses several amenities for the college's athletes and students alike.

St. Joseph's participates in Division III Athletics within the Skyline Conference. Our teams have had 55 NCAA tournament appearances and 43 Skyline Conference championships as well as 6 Skyline President Cup winners.
Division III Sports Teams
The SJNY Brooklyn Bears participates in the Skyline Conference. We offer Division III Athletics in Men's Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Soccer and Volleyball and for Women's sports we have Basketball, Cross Country, Soccer, Softball and Volleyball.
Athletic Facilities
The Hill Center is a 40,000-square-foot building featuring a 270-spectator arena with NCAA-regulation basketball and volleyball courts, a premier sound system, scoreboard and full-color message board, eight full-service locker rooms, aerobic/dance studio with a state-of-the-art audio system, multipurpose classroom with audio and video capabilities, VIP/Presidential Suite overlooking the arena, an outdoor terrace overlooking Vanderbilt Avenue and providing gorgeous views of the Manhattan skyline and a state-of-the-art fitness center with the latest Schwinn, Cybex, True and Precor machines.
Our cardiovascular equipment includes treadmills, recumbent and spin bikes, ellipticals, rowers, rope pulls and Stairmaster machines.
There is also Underground parking garage with a capacity for up to 90 vehicles, two exclusive St. Joseph’s team locker rooms with wooden lockers, padded seats and custom broadloom carpets a team room/athletes lounge, four-by-20-foot inflatable batting cages, fully equipped sports medicine office with laser and electrical stimulation treatment machines, hot and cold whirlpools, and custom treatment and taping tables.

📚⚽🏀 Student Athlete
Our athletes are not only strong on the field but they're also strong in the classroom. We have had 865 Skyline Conference Academic Award Winners over the last 5 years. This award is given to student who have a GPA over 3.3. There have been 5 All-Americans and 7 Academic All-Americans. Our student athletes have a collective GPA of a 3.3
