This is the anatomy lab at PCOM Georgia. There are stations with benches and chairs for students to work.

The OMM lab features benches for students to practice manipulations on each other. The room also features overhead projectors for viewing the demonstration being performed at the front of the classroom.

The OMM provides tables for students to practice osteopathic manipulations in small groups. Monitors throughout the room allow students to follow demonstrations led by faculty at the front of the room.

My best advice: The saying that "medicine is a team sport" rings true, and I find great hope knowing that the individuals I share class with now are the colleagues I will share patients with in a few short years. It is essential to think of your classmates as your collaborators, and to lean on them as well as your professors if you are struggling. My Favorite Thing about PCOM: I love the people! It is so cool to be at a school that is smaller in size and centers around healthcare education. It is nice to know that most people I'm interacting with are future healthcare providers. It offers so much support knowing you're not alone! I like how PCOM allows me to feel focused and supported. The size of our school allows us to receive much more feedback from the faculty when it comes to our concerns on things from the curriculum all the way to the lunch menu! Because we have an inter- disciplinary focus, I even get to work with the psychology students!
