Welcome to our newest addition in Housing & Residence Life, Owens House! Owens House pays homage to the legacy of local civil rights icon and long-time supporter of Old Dominion University, Dr. Hugo A. Owens, Sr.
Owens House promotes a culture of learning and hosts most of our Living-Learning Communities. Cybersecurity, Engineering, Entrepreneurship & Gaming, and Health Professions are the Living-Learning Communities included at Owens House.
In addition to housing 470 students, the building features two large classrooms, project rooms, and ample study spaces.
Owens House offers both single and double style rooms. One of the most unique features is the customizable furniture which allows students to adjust their space into multiple configurations.
