Recreational Sports

Feed the Need!

⭐ Recreational Sports

The Department of Recreational Sports at North Central College is a division of Athletics and is commonly referred to as "RecSports". RecSports has a variety of recreational opportunities and we strive to offer something for everyone.

Informal Recreation Opportunities

Equipment is available to check out at the Res/Rec Front Desk. We have basketballs, volleyballs, tennis racquets, frisbees and much more! Anytime a court is not reserved, it is considered 'open for use'. Check the daily schedule posted outside the Res/Rec Arena to ensure court space is available when you want to play.

Intramural Sports

We offer 15 different team sports throughout the school year. Seasons are 6-7 weeks long and are comprised of games once a week. Each term there are two one day tournaments or special events. Of course, winners get championship swag!

Group Fitness Classes

Group Fitness Classes are offered between 4pm-7pm, Monday - Thursday. We offer 8 fitness classes to current students, faculty, and staff. Our instructors are certified in their craft and enjoy teaching in the college atmosphere. All our classes are FREE.

⭐ Feed the Need!

Feed The Need!™ Illinois is an informal coalition of Naperville area churches, congregations, and civic organizations working together to sponsor an annual Feed My Starving Children MobilePack on the campus of North Central College. The largest MobilePack event in the country.

The goal is working together to turn hunger into hope!

Results: TWO DAYS. 6,000 VOLUNTEERS. 1.3 MILLION MEALS.
