E. & L. Andrew Fitness Center

Athletics are an important part of the Knox experience—nearly 60% of our students participate in varsity, club, or intramural sports. We have 18 NCAA Division III teams competing in the Midwest Athletic Conference.

Health & Wellness

⭐ Health & Wellness

When we say we're human powered, we mean that quite literally.

Opportunities to Get (And Stay) Healthy

- More than half of our students participate in some kind of organized athletic activity, from club sports (water polo, fencing, Ultimate Frisbee, and equestrian); to intramurals (basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, and futsal); to fitness classes organized and taught by students (a few recent examples: Balinese dancing, yoga). And don't forget about our 18 NCAA Division III teams.

- Great equipment and facilities make all that movement possible. Our 13,000-square-foot E. & L. Andrew Fitness Center features a cardio exercise area, a free weight training area, and a fitness studio. We also have indoor and outdoor tracks; baseball, softball, football, and soccer fields; tennis courts; and a pool.

- To keep our students ready for any activity, we offer on-campus healthcare and counseling services available to all students and included in the cost of tuition. And we understand that wellness is more than just physical health, which is why we offer confidential counseling and other mental health resources free of charge to all Knox students.
